Event Description

Join trained Mindfulness Facilitators, Dr. Alda Ngo & Hannah Marsh for this live interactive online workshop.

Grounded in the evidence-based Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program and the works of Dr. Catherine Phillips & Dr. Ronald Epstein, this workshop provides an introduction to mindfulness for healthcare professionals. We will explore through direct experience what mindfulness is and how you can incorporate it into aspects of your clinical practice to decrease occupational stress and enhance well-being.

Research shows that mindfulness training leads to better mood and emotional stability, decreased risk of burnout, and enhanced patient-care. In this workshop, we’ll discover firsthand the effects of mindfulness through guided mindfulness practices, reflective exercises, and group inquiry.

If you are also interested in offering mindfulness as a resource for your patients, the first and most important step is to practice mindfulness yourself. What you offer and teach others will draw from the foundation of your own practice. As we’ll discover together, the benefits of mindfulness come from embodied practice.

This 6-hour workshop is the perfect introductory, direct exploration of mindfulness to help you flourish both personally and professionally.
