Lab Testing at Whole Family Health

Lab Testing available NOW at Whole Family Health!
We now offer comprehensive diagnostic laboratory testing here at the Whole Family Health clinic. Reviewing current blood work is an integral part of your initial health assessment. Therefore getting a more detailed idea through specific tests that we now offer can create a more personalized treatment plan that can address your own unique concerns. It helps us figure out the WHY in your case!
Food Sensitivity/IgG Reactions:
IgG food reactions tend to take hours or days to develop, making it difficult to determine the food cause without testing. Undiagnosed food sensitivities are now linked to many common illnesses, such as: fatigue, weight gain, migraines, arthritis, anxiety, or irritable bowel syndrome, to name a few. Studies have shown that eliminating food sensitivities in our diet can greatly improve most underlying inflammatory disorders.
Our adrenal glands are what help us manage our stress levels. Cortisol is the main stress hormone produced by the adrenal glands. When stress becomes chronic, the constant increase in cortisol can cause symptoms like: anxiety, feeling tired but wired, and sleep problems. The excess cortisol can also interfere with other hormones causing a hormonal imbalance. Over time, the prolonged negative effects of high cortisol can cause the adrenal glands to actually decrease cortisol as a protective measure – called the exhaustion stage. Common symptoms can be: burnt out, fatigue (morning fatigue), allergies, low blood sugar, low sex drive, and depression. DHEA and aldosterone can be typically affected, which have been implicated in infertility.
Hormonal Testing – For Men and Women:
Hormonal imbalance may have a negative effect on health. Pinpointing which hormone may be out of balance can allow your practitioner to identify the cause of your symptoms and know where to correct the imbalance. Some common hormone conditions are:
Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia
Routine Blood Work:
Annual blood testing can be an important part of preventing life-threatening diseases. Your blood work identifies critical changes in your body before they manifest into symptoms. Most annual medical check-ups involve routine blood tests, but some tests may be left out that are important markers of disease risk. That is where we can fill in the gaps and provide the required tests that may be indicated in your case. We are now associated with DynaLife labs, where the tests are performed.
