A Sad Farewell

Posted by Admin

I am now in my 11th year of practice and have never been so satisfied in my work environment. I am focusing on an area of medicine I find very rewarding, the patients I work with are amazing, my colleagues are top notch and my place of work is about 1 km from my home, so it is with great sadness that I announce my upcoming move back to BC at the end of July. As some of you know my husband has been teaching at Selkirk College in Nelson on a temporary contract since January which has now become a permanent position. I will be transferring care of my patients to Cecil and Christina. Leaving Edmonton and Whole Family Health will be difficult as I have never worked with a better group of people, who are more than great colleagues but also wonderful friends and neighbours!!

We have lots of family and close friends that await us in the Kootenays and this is the biggest push for my husband and I to get back home. In this parenting journey it is safety in numbers and we look forward to having a better life balance with both great help and more people to delight in our children and watch them grow up.

I will return for frequent visits over the fall, winter and spring as I continue to be part of the PIM research trials at the Stollery Hospital. I look forward to being in the clinic then and look forward to seeing you.

For my patients’ thank you for allowing me to share in your lives in all the highs and lows, you have been great teachers to me and I am grateful for the time spent with you. I wish you all the best!

Happy summer!! For those that would like to keep in touch or have questions my personal email is gabriellaltoth@hotmail.com

Warm Regards,

Gabriella Toth
